- Several churches in Lusaka, Zambia operate Faith
Works free schools for orphans and poor children. The churches provide
volunteer teachers while each congregation operates one or more primary
grades.
- Over 2,800 orphans and vulnerable children are receiving a basic Christian
education in these Lusaka, Zambia Faith
Works classrooms.
- American churches help provide books, materials and stipends for teachers. Mission
teams conduct training and teach alongside the Zambian teachers.

We are very excited about the new classrooms for eighth grade financed
by a special matching grant from Helen
DeVos. Building is expected
to be done in time for the first classes in January 2008.
