three sisters

Three Sisters

Precious, Beauty and Chipo are sisters, six, eight and ten years old. When their father, then their mother, died one after the other, these little girls were taken to live with their aunt.  But after being there only a few weeks, the aunt’s husband demanded they leave the home.

They could easily have become trapped, homeless, and on the streets.  But they would not have stayed on the street for long.  Girls without protectors are easy prey.  They disappear into an underworld too gruesome to imagine. Instead, they found help at House of Martha, our crisis home for older children.  They are prospering in this special home, going to school at the special needs classroom there, singing with their friends and healing in the acceptance and encouragement of the House of Martha family.   There is a family that is interested in adopting all three sisters.

Names have been changed to protect the children.  The stories are true.dONATE
