Change
4 Children is a mission education program designed to help adults and
children understand the challenges of living in sub-Saharan Africa. Through
media and other tools, church families join a team of volunteers in changing
children’s lives. Change 4 Children is interactive, real-time giving
and receiving.

Zeeland Christian School
At Zeeland Christian we
are very excited about our Change 4 Children program. It has been a blessing
to learn about our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in Zambia.
God is working through Alliance for Children Everywhere and we love supporting
what they are doing in Zambia by collecting change. The 8th graders in
the picture have raised about $600 of change in their first three weeks!
We pray God continues to bless our change collection.

Covenant
Presbyterian Church in Racine, Wisconsin welcomes its fourth year of
Change 4 Children.
Here are a few pictures for you of the collection on Sunday, some kids with their baskets, our new student pastor Matt Morin and our pastor Melanie.
Change 4 Children has been a wonderful intergenerational project for our congregation. Not only has it helped us offer assistance with the overwhelming crisis of AIDS in Zambia, we've really learned about God's love for every one of his children. We've seen the faces and read the stories and truly felt the desire to reach across the ocean to help individual children of God. That's the love God wants us to feel!
In addition, we are encouraged and deeply moved by the way the Zambian people feel hope for themselves amidst what appears to be hopelessness and despair. We plan to bring our baskets and katumbas to church for a special C4C collection every third Sunday of the month this year—which adds funs for the kids who love to bring all that color and noise into the sanctuary!
Praise God for all you at ACE for all you do! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

at left raised $628.88 during their Change 4 Children program and another
$465.56 at their summer VBS.

We
just got done counting our first weeks change and we collected $1,528.00
WOW! The kids figured out that they could feed over 8,000 people or send
over 30,500 children to school for a day with their one week's change.
It's actually quite amazing to realize that people sacrificed such a
small amount this week and that it could make a significant difference
in many people's lives.
We here at Glenkirk Presbyterian are very excited about not only the
chance of helping so many, but about the lesson that we are teaching
our children about the responsibility and honor of being able to help
others. The wonderful thing about this program is that we as a church
have been able to, for the first time, focus on a mission project that
every generation at the church can participate in. Together we're working
as a body to be the missional church that God calls us to be! Thanks
for the opportunity that you have given us to work together for Gods
great purpose in our lives!
