Following a recent Change 4 Children campaign, Living Word Chapel (LWC), located in Oracle, Arizona, presented Alliance for Children Everywhere with a check for $4,045 to provide life giving assistance to orphans and abandoned children in Zambia Africa. The Change 4 Children curriculum and the opportunity to assist children in need had such a positive impact on the kids at LWC that the leaders decided to continue teaching a monthly missions curriculum. In September 2009, LWC will be launching a Mission Explorers video series that will introduce the children to mission ministries around the world, taking them from Africa to India to the Philippine Islands, Fiji and Bolivia, as they learn about the people, their culture and how missionaries from each region are sharing the Gospel of Christ. LWC would like to thank Holly Young with the Alliance for Children Everywhere for kicking off our Change 4 Children campaign and getting us started on our amazing journey in Zambia, Africa.
